Dubai Rugby 7s

One of the ways I enticed Dad and Ken to come to Dubai was by getting them tickets to the Dubai Rugby 7s tournament (they say Noah was a big draw too). This year, the tournament was held at the new Sevens stadium and was attended by 50,000 people. Noah was a real trooper and allowed us to stay and watch the final - well past his bedtime.

Aquaventure at Atlantis

We loaded everyone up (less Jeff, as he had to go to work) and spent the day at Aquaventure at Atlantis. While Noah and I took it easy and relaxed by the waters edge, Dad, Ken and Diana were off riding every slide and ride possible - several times.

Dad's #1 Fan

We bundled Noah up and took him to see his first hockey game. While no goals were scored by Dad, the Al Mal Falcons won 5-2.

It is Dad's first visit to Dubai. We are looking forward to showing him this crazy place, as well as him spending time with Noah.

Ken arrived today! He has 3 weeks here in Dubai, so plenty of time to take in all the sights and learn how to change a diaper or two. Looks like he might be recruited to the Mighty Camels. ;)

Miracle Blanket

After many failed attempts to successfully swaddle Noah with a regular receiving blanket, we ran out and bought the Miracle Blanket. Here is my first try - I think we have a Houdini on our hands.

Dubai Mall

Another mall has opened in Dubai, so we had to check it out. Dubai Mall is the world's largest mall with an Olympic size ice rink, huge aquarium and will eventually have 1,200 retail shops - there were more 'Opening Soon' signs than 'Opened' stores.

Will be great when completed.
