Jeff received a complimentary night at any Shangria-La Hotel, which was due to expire at the end of this month. We tried to get into the SL in AbuDhabi but it was completely booked, so we ended up booking a night at the SL in Dubai.
We enjoyed coffee at the Marina prior to checking in. We enjoyed lounging by the pool and had dinner at a nearby restaurant. It was a really relaxing weekend without having to go too far.

The William sisters met in the semis of the Dubai tennis tournament.
As the season is coming to an end, we decided we should go watch another game. Noah managed to stay up for the whole game and appeared to be watching the flow of the game.
Hanging out at the arena is preparing us for our visit in April.
We met Traci (Mom) & Emelia (girl- 2 weeks older than Noah) over a month ago in the bathroom at IbnBattuta Mall. We were both struggling to nurse our little ones discreetly - instantly bonded. It is fun to watch them 'play'.
Heading to Shakespeare Cafe. Do we really have to hold hands?
Only the Dubai Desert Classic could take us away from Noah...and only then for a few hours. We were really lucky that Lily could come and take care of him, while we caught up with some of the worlds best golfers.
Unfortunately, Tiger didn't make his return to defend his title, however it made for much smaller galleries and a more relaxed atmosphere. Was nice to have some time to ourselves and enjoy one of the events that makes Dubai a cool place to live.

Colin Montgomerie - just named as the captain for the Ryder Cup 2010.
Welcome to Married Life - a site which chronicles our life together.
In April of 2007, we moved to Dubai. A few months later we returned to Canada to get married. Today, we are back in Middle East, creating a new home for ourselves in the desert. This comes as somewhat of a surprise to us, as a year ago we would have been certain our home would be in Vancouver for years to come. It reminds us that in life you do not always know what the future holds. So while we may not know what's around the corner, we will do our best to update this site often so that our family and friends can receive regular updates as to how "Married Life" is treating us. Love Jeff and Angela.
