Noah's 1st Haircut!

It was time...Noah needed a haircut. With the idea of of trying to minimize trauma for all haircuts to come, we decided to take him to a child friendly hair salon at Favorite Things fo rhis 1st haircut. All went well - Noah was a champ.

Jeff's Birthday!

I think this may be the 3rd time we have celebrated Jeff's birthday but today is the official day. Noah and I made a special cake/tart, which Noah really enjoyed. Good thing we didn't bring it all out at once.

Last Night with Nan & Pops

For Bob & Gayle's last night we decided to go big...or more specifically go high.

We started - At the Top! With a trip to the 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa - the world's tallest building. Gayle decided that Bloomingdales was more to her liking, while Bob, Jeff and I went up. It is a new must-do for our visitors.

We took in a few Dubai Fountain shows -world's largest fountains - then headed to NEOS for a pre-dinner drink. Seemed a little low, given it was only on the 63rd floor of the Address hotel.

Lastly, we enjoyed a great Thai meal at the Mango Tree, taking in more of the Dubai Fountain shows. We hope that it was as memorable of a last night for Nan & Pops...as it was for us.

29 Weeks

We are at 29 weeks!!! For me, this is officially the homeward stretch. Crazy!

Thought it would be great to get a memorable Dubai photo for P2's baby book and what better place to capture this crazy city than At The Top - 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa, world's tallest building.

What is Easter without a Turkey Dinner?

Since Easter weekend was very busy, we decided to delay the turkey dinner and combine it with an early birthday celebration for Jeff - more cake!
