Yellowstone Park

One of the stops on my wishlist for this trip was Yellowstone Park. We had orginally thought we might camp within the park but when we saw snow, we thought we had better keep looking.

Didn't stop to get a photo of park sign, so this is to capture the drive in.
First bison spotting.
Everyone out to see bison.

Is there something behind me?
A little video.
Noah is going to drive this leg.
Bison running/walking thru a red light.
Here they come.
Ok. Don't get any closer.
On our way to Old Faithful.
Noah spots Old Faithful.

Mom & Hana looking for a good spot to sit.

Waiting...
Waiting some more...

Right on time.
A little more video.
Should we wait for it again?
Hana liked it.
When you gotta go, you gotta go.
Good place to camp?

On to Bozeman, MT

We left Ellensburg around 10am with our next stop being Coeur d'Alene, ID - our only stop in Idaho. We had lunch, did a quick drive through but continued on. We decided we would aim for Bozeman, MT to spend 2 nights before hitting Yellowstone and trying our luck with camping.
We stayed at the C'Mon Inn in Bozeman. Noah and Hana loved the pool. Jeff enjoyed watching the final day of the US Open for Father's Day.

Noah got to feed the koi.

Day 1 Completed - Ellensburg

Since we aren't in any rush, we decided to stop in Ellensburg...not because it is a destination but because we found a decent hotel, right next to a drive thru Starbucks, which seemed like a nice way to hit the road in the morning.
Our sleepy bear.
Good Morning!
Got milk?
Ready to hit the road again.

First Stop

We made our first stop at Bellevue Mall to pick up a few things. Had dinner and were back on the road - aiming for Spokane.

All Packed

Filled to the rim, we are all packed and on our way for our cross country road trip!
Wish us luck.
