Noah's First Christmas

It is hard to believe that we are celebrating our second Christmas in Dubai...and even harder to believe that it is Noah's first. Santa and everyone was extremely generous - thank you to all! We hope you had a good one too.

Christmas Eve

We had a very relaxing Christmas Eve. We ordered in Indian food, so no one had to cook. Noah put on his Christmas Eve outfit, while Aisha wrote Santa a letter and put out milk and cookies.

This year, we tracked Santa down at the Madinat Jumeirah. Every year for the last 30+, my mom (Grandma Ball) has made 'the kids' get our photo taken with Santa. Now that we are having our own, we can finally pass on this tradition.


Noah was a real trooper. We got our picture taken with Santa, strolled around and enjoy the Christmas decor, then had dinner at Left Bank with almost no fuss from him - he might get the swing he asked Santa for. ;)

My First Bottle

We decided that it was a good time to introduce noah to a bottle, so Mom could enjoy a little holiday cheer. He gulped one & a half bottles down, followed by a healthy burp. We don't think it is going to be a problem.

Nan & Pops Arrive!
