Around the Resort

Just a few pics of resort amenities.

Pier - where Noah tested our ability to keep up with him.
As much time possible was spent around the resort pools.

Great landscaping and architecture - if you can look past the belly.

Our Villa at Anahita

We had the pleasure of staying at the Residences at Anahita. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is headed that way!

Van was equipped with a Noah seat - love conveniences.

View from our villa.

Didn't take long to settled in.

Dining alfresco and in the buff.

Towel art.

Spent lots of time on the terrace.

Can't beat this!

In-room dining at its best.

Thought you might like this one - Lis.

Off to Mauritius

We had the opportunity to take a last minute family trip to Mauritius - who could say no???

Our flight left at 3am but you wouldn't have known by the way Noah was livin' it up at the airport.

Showing off his dance moves.

Who is this for?

Boarding the plane.

Mother's Day

Venitta and I spent the day at the Burj Al Arab. We took advantage of the Junsui Classic Package, which not only includes an hour massage at the Assawan Spa but you also get day access to the Burj Al Arab beach, the spa facilities, plus a dinner at the authentic Asian restaurant - Junsui.

Might not be the most conventional way to spend Mother's day but no one is complaining - thanks to Jeff, Noah and Venitta. Not too many pics, as we were too busy relaxing.

Happy Mother's Day!

Avery's 4th Birthday Party

Noah was invited to Avery's 4th birthday party and we tagged along. Noah is a big fan of Avery's, so lots of fun was had.

Birthday cake with all the Disney princesses on it.

Learnt this from Dad.

Thank you hugs from Avery...Noah is lovin' it.

Ethan took Noah under his wing for musical mats.

Sheikh Zayed Mosque

Another visitor, another visit to Abu Dhabi. Having completed her contract, Venitta and I managed to squeeze in some of the sights and since she was here last the new Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi had opened and it is a must on my visitors list...so off we went.

Potty Time

While we are pretty sure this was just plain old luck but Noah managed to do his first poop on the potty today.

1st Day at Jitterbugs!

Today was Noah's 1st day at Jitterbugs Creche (Nursery). We have signed him up for one day a week to ease him into it...but after today, I think the easing is more for me. When I went to drop him off, he went right into the play room and barely looked back. I asked him for a kiss goodbye, which he was happy to do but quickly got back to the toys.

When I came to pick him up at noon, he looked stunned that I was there. From all accounts, it sounds like he thoroughly enjoyed his first day and we both look forward to next Sunday!

Getting right in there.

Stunned that I am back.
Do I have to go???

Noah's 1st Haircut!

It was time...Noah needed a haircut. With the idea of of trying to minimize trauma for all haircuts to come, we decided to take him to a child friendly hair salon at Favorite Things fo rhis 1st haircut. All went well - Noah was a champ.

It is time to get rid of this mop.

Not too sure about this.

Not too much.
