Starting to Feel Like a Home

We recently re-received the furniture we bought in Sharjah. That is right - Re-received. The first time it came, it was finished in a really dark brown wax that came off on your clothes, so we had to send it back to be stripped down to the colour that it is now...and we love it.

I also painted the living room to add some interest and warmth, as every room in our home is a yellowish, off-white. While it took me 7 cans of paint to pick the right colour, our living room is really coming together.
