Lisa & Rob hosted the July & August Birthday party.
We were all looking forward to a dip in their pool but unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate. However, they were well equipped with their new entertainment setup, which most of us couldn't take our eyes off.
Garden tour.
Maybe next time.
My favorite garden area.

Grandpa Meets Peanut
Jeff, Mom and I went to have lunch with Grandpa today. He had all sort of questions for Jeff and I about living in Dubai. It was great to see him... he is still going strong at a few weeks shy of 102.
We look forward to introducing Peanut to Grandpa, outside of my belly, soon.

Trip to Tugboat
Having just taken possession of his new boat, Dad was eager to take us out. We decided we would do a short maiden voyage to the RVYC's outpost on Tugboat Island.
While the wind died down prior to our arrival on the first day, the weather was great and it was a very comfortable sail over. Upon our arrival, we explored the island before enjoying dinner at the Silva Bay Resort Marina restaurant.
On the second day, we woke up to grey clouds and a much cooler temperature. We got a bite to eat and looked around Silva Bay before packing up for the journey back. While the rain managed to mostly hold off, it was less than ideal conditions, in my mind.
We ended the voyage with a great dinner on the RVYC patio.
We are off.
I think he likes his new boat.
The trip over to Tugboat was very enjoyable.
Recovering from the weekend with the boys.
Dad throwing cherry pits at me.
Feeding the fish.
All smiles.
Life is rough out here.
Dad winning $10 off Jeff.
Exploring Tugboat Island.
Love the Gulf Islands.
Dinner at Silva Bay Resort Marina restaurant.
Our sleeping quarters.
Dad's bed.
This picture does not do the day justice. I don't think I was smiling this much.
Smooth sailing.
Dinner at RVYC.
Beautiful Vancouver sunset.

Birthday Celebration
We had a few birthdays to catch up on, as well as a few coming up shortly. Basically, we can find any reason to order Temaki and Bonton. Yum!
No time wasted getting to the sushi.
Temaki makes everyone happy.
Mom's new furniture layout works well.
While it wasn't Molly's birthday, she got a new friend; Camy the Camel.
She seems to like it.
August Birthdays: We returned the favor by getting Rob & Lisa the best BBQ ever!
Mom trying to figure out how many candle are needed.
The birthday boys & girls. (Ken was MIA)

Boat Tour
We got really lucky and were invited out on Dean Kneiders boat for an afternoon tour. It was a beautiful day, the company was great and Dean is an incredible host.
Thanks again, Dean!
The host - Dean.
Acting Captain - Chad.
Jeff with a story...
that Barb & Joanne look interested in.
Look at that grin...you know they are up to no good.
Norm & Joanne.
And all good things must come to an end. Barb, Chad & I.

Vancouver
Our next stop was Vancouver...we were really excited to be staying for more than a few days, so we could try to catch up with everyone.
We had great weather for a week, which had us wanting to come home but then the clouds opened up and we were reminded again why we might not be rushing home. ;)
Time flew by. While we enjoyed every moment, we can't wait for our next trip home with Peanut.
While we arrived at YVR safely, Jeff's golf clubs didn't show up for a few days.
We had a great dinner at Steveston, then spent our first night at Lisa & Rob's.
Lisa - Pre-52 in TV and entertainment wall.
Getting all caught up.
Rob & Princess.
Jeff super happy to see Molly.
Molly tuckered out by all the excitement.
Getting back into Kitsilano living.
First of several sushi stops, while in Vancouver.
Dad's new boat.
Jeff & Molly in front of the home - still looks good.
Coffee at Kits Beach.
Lummer is home!!! Visiting with Vince & Venitta.
Going to be touch to get her to come back to Dubai.
Me, Mom & Peanut at the Fairmont Waterfront.
EA has driven Ken to drink excessively.
Diana & Lis show off the Dragon Roll - Yum.
Jeff, Molly & Camy the camel.
Last dinner in Vancouver at Sawasdee - it was Lisa's actual birthday.
The kids.
