Cairo

Jeff had to visit his team in Cairo, so we took the opportunity to join him.

Noah and I ventured out on our own for a few days, while Jeff worked. Then all three of us went to the pyramids for a day of adventure.

It was a great trip...too bad Noah won't remember too much of it.

In the streets of Cairo.

Hanging with 'Ramoul the Camel' from Emirates Airline.

I was in Cairo when Barack Obama was inaugarted.

Dad is back from work.

Happy to see Dad.

Sleeping arrangements.

My very own Fairmont bed.

Khan el-Khalili Bazaar

Al-Azhar Mosque

The Egyptian Pancake House was recommended in Lonely Panet.

Banana pancakes with sugar - healthy.

Cairo taxi - no seatbelts, not this time.

Jeff working hard in his Egypt office.

Dinner on the Nile at La Pacha 1901.

We enjoyed some great Egyptian food.

I took this photo for my mom because there was a huge display of cute bunnies but then I realized they were likely the 'rabbit' on the menu.

Ready for the pyramids.

Our driver for the day - Ahmed.

Overlooking the City of the Dead.

The Citadel - where history meets mystery.

Noah woke up from his nap with these camels hovering over him.

Great Pyramid of Khufu - the big one.

The Bjorn was much easier than the Bugaboo - thanks Nan & Pops!

Entrance to one of the many tombs.

The Pyramid of Khafre & camel.

Mom bundle me up, there is another dirty camel coming.

Little pyramid for our little one.

Wish I could remember this.

More desert.

Noah & Mom and the Pyramid of Khafre.
I love you as high as this pyramid.

Guess we shouldn't leave our stroller here.

One last look.

Last stop the Sphinx.

We had a late lunch at the Mena House Hotel at the base of the pyramids.

Back to the pyramids for the Sounds & Light Show.

It was quite cold, might have been the coldest day of Noah's life. ;) All bundled up.

Noah passed out on the bed, while we packed up.

Heading back to Dubai.

I am a little skysurfer!
